Antique US Army 1940's 2nd World War Airborne Paratrooper Bakelite Wrist Compass
This brown bakelite compass was issued to all Allied Airborne troops during World War 2 in the 1940's. The base of the compass has the markings:

Originally the compass came with a leather band and was usually worn on the wrist, over the sleeve, the shoulder loops , webbing or at the ankle over the jump boots.
The compass is 2.3 inches or 5.5 cm in diameter , comes in a wooden presentation box and a custom made brass plaque engraved with the details of the compass.
