This version of the cradle telephone is a combination of black and chrome. The base of the telephone is in black and the rest is made in solid chrome plated brass. The base of the telephone has a solid iron plate for stability. The phone has a beautiful old bell in the base which rings & works on any landline worldwide.
Cradle telephones were produced around the 1930s. They were a classic style of telephone and very popular during that period. These telephones are convenient to use and fit in exceptionally well with the all types of home decor. The base of the cradle telephone is 13 cm in diameter and 19.5 cm tall. The handset is 25 cm long and the instrument weighs approximately 4kg when packed.
All our antique telephones are fully stripped down, polished & rewired with hand platted cords in our workshop near Oxford , England. The phones have all original fittings inside and we try to keep all the original parts wherever possible. They come fitted with a standard British connection & all International customers ( USA, Europe, Asia Etc) will be provided with a RJ11 adapter, so the customer can use the phone on any fixed telephone line.
