This 10-inch desktop refracting telescope is mounted on a wooden and bronze  tripod. Looking through the main refracting telescope the precise optics magnify images up to 14 times. The focusing ring is located near the eyepiece. Rotating this ring sharpens the image when looking through the telescope. A lens cover protects the outer lens. For storage and transportation the telescope pipe detaches from the tripod. The wooden tripod has feet that slip into the frame when the 3 screws are loosened on the tripod. During shipping the telescope and stand are packed separately. They weigh 2 kg together.the telescope is 25 cm long and 4 cm in diameter. The tripod fully extended is 38 cm high and folded down 27cm.
