Antique Black & Brass English GPO ( General Post Office ) #150 Candlestick Telephone and Bell Box circa 1910 - 1920's

This is the finest example of a working British General Post Office GPO #150 original antique candlestick with its original wooden wall bell set. The phone has been fully stripped down, restored, and rebuilt to the highest possible standard. The collar and ear piece have polished brass to give it a fantastic look. The dial works perfectly and we have fitted excellent quality hand platted cords for prefect sound quality.
The phone is connected to its original wooden GPO bell box, so when it's connected the brass bells ring. There is a picture of the internals of the bell box with its original paper circuit diagram. The marks behind the bell box are
GPO - TE - 29 / 235 No: 1 and the white GPO faded crest.
There is a No.150 mark on the brass collar on one side and a PL 30 /234 mark on the other side. The back of the bakelite mouthpiece has the marks PL. 234 No :22
This is a wonderful original antique British General Post Office (GPO ) telephone and an absolute collectors pieces.
Circa 1900 -1910.
This telephone and its bell box weigh around 8-10 kg with packaging.
All our antique telephones are fully stripped down, polished & rewired with hand platted cords in our workshop near Oxford , England. The phones have all original fittings inside and we try to keep all the original parts wherever possible. They come fitted with a standard British connection & all International customers ( USA, Europe, Asia Etc) will be provided with a RJ11 adapter, so the customer can use the phone on any analogue fixed telephone land line.
